Just a quick note, as I sit in class with a hat on;
Whats the overall situation with wearing hats in the hallways? It seems to me like the administration overall keeps the reins tight on keeping hats off peoples heads. Each teacher takes the problem into their own descretion on whether hat wearing is appropriate in the classroom.
I tend to wear a hat everyday to tie together an outfit. The SOTA policy has me sneaking around each corner ready to take off my cap at anysite of hall monitors , administration or incase some teachers. As much as I look to see who is around the corner to take my hat, I also look around to see which teachers will proceed with nonchalant haste toward their next destination.
Everyone knows the rules but its hard to find out the reason why.
Any ideas?
*Hats cant be gang related.
*Hats arent offencive (except when teachers don't root for your team).

i would have to agree with you. i find it very stupid that administration has a problem with kids wearing hats. My boyfriend wears a bunch of hats and i think they look good on him. If anything they're more of a fashion statement then anything else...

I know the frustration associated with hat wearing limits. I feel as if your scanned on the way in any ways sio whats the point. also Is there not a hat day? so honestly whats the deal with wearing it period.

Anyways Cory, I can't think of a good reason myself for the no hat rule. How does the administration justify this rule anyways? Students will wear hats regardless to defy these crazy school rules. Like Julissa said they're more of a fashion statement! This is School of the Arts ya know...
